Nursery Room - Painted Trim!

Last night Chris and I spent a few hours after our walk and dinner to paint the trim in the nursery.  We might go back and do a quick second coat on the bottom of the baseboards.  I primed the baseboards before we ripped up the carpet, so the bottom of the baseboards didn't get primed too well.  The tough part though, I'm thankful to say, is over.  Painting the top of the baseboards, where it lines up against the wall, is a pain in the rear.  I look like I'm in timeout when I do it because I put my forehead against the wall so I can lean over and look straight down, and trim the top.

It makes me so happy to see the difference in the room though!  It REALLY brightens it up!  Here's where we left off on Wednesday :

And here's what it looks like after the trim got a fresh coat of white paint:

Minus the slight tilting of the picture, what do you think?!  Amazing what some white paint can do, huh?!

I used Behr's Ultra Pure White, just straight from the shelf, in semi-gloss for those that are interested!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  We've got a full schedule lined up...but of mainly shopping, doing some work on the rental property, and spending time with friends...so we might have to actually take a breather from the nursery for a weekend.  Minus, that is, shopping for flooring in here!

Happy Friday!
